How to switch from Calendly to skdul in 5 minutes

Switching scheduling tools sounds annoying. You've got events configured, availability rules set, maybe some upcoming bookings you can't mess up. We get it.

That's why we built a one-click import. Connect your Calendly account, pick what you want to bring over, and skdul handles the rest. The whole process takes about five minutes.

What gets imported

• Events — names, durations, descriptions, buffer times, locations. Everything maps 1:1.
• Availability rules — your working hours transfer exactly. Monday 9–5, Wednesday 10–3, whatever you've set.
• Upcoming bookings — confirmed future bookings come over with guest details intact. No one gets left behind.
• Profile info — your name, timezone, and bio carry over so your booking page is immediately familiar.

What doesn't (and why)

• Historical bookings — we only import future bookings. Past meetings stay in Calendly's records. You probably don't need them in your new tool.
• Workflows and automations — Calendly's custom workflows don't have a direct equivalent. But skdul's built-in confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups cover the most common cases out of the box.
• Team scheduling — if you're on a Calendly Teams plan with round-robin or collective scheduling, those features aren't supported yet. Individual scheduling imports perfectly.

Step by step

1. Create your skdul account

Sign up at skdul.ai. Takes 30 seconds. You'll pick a username that becomes your booking page URL — skdul.ai/yourname.

2. Go to Integrations → Import from Calendly

In your dashboard, open Integrations and click "Import from Calendly." You'll authorize skdul to read your Calendly data (read-only — we never modify your Calendly account).

3. Select what to import

You'll see a checklist of your Calendly events and settings. Select all or pick specific ones. Common choices:

• Import all events if you're fully switching.
• Import just one or two if you want to test skdul alongside Calendly first.

4. Review and confirm

skdul shows you a preview of what will be created. Event names, durations, and availability rules are all visible. Click "Import" and it runs in a few seconds.

5. Update your links

This is the only manual step. Replace your old Calendly link with your new skdul link wherever it appears:

• Email signature
• Website or portfolio
• Social media bios
• Any automated messages or templates

After the switch

Your guests won't notice much. The booking experience is similar — pick a time, fill in your name and email, confirm. The main differences they'll see:

• A cleaner, more modern booking page.
• Smarter time suggestions (best times surface first).
• Faster confirmation emails.
